Not even hurricane Sandy could stop me from getting dressed up on Halloween. Even though Sandy was the grinch that stole Halloween, (the village halloween parade was canceled & all of lower manhattan is out of power and jersey, long island and Brooklyn is in the dark trying to pick up the pieces), I still decided to get dress up. Halloween is my favorite holiday. It's more fun than my birthday! I went out the friday and saturday before Halloween to parties and exploration. I put together this costume quick yesterday so I could go to chipotle and take advantage of their $2 burrito deal! I'm suppost to be a goth cheerleader but it turned out more goth 50s school girl. I don't really care about my outfit but I thought my make up was on point!

girl group reject.
Dress: Vintage, Scarf (in hair): Vintage, Tights: Target, Earrings: Forever 21
I've had this dress since the eight grade, when I started to get more adventurous with my dressing. It comes to my knees which is perfect because it's long enough to be modest, yet short enough to be comfortable and this morning I was going for comfort and modesty. I'm trying out "character dressing" as a excuse to wear more color (i'm a baby goth for life<3), but anyway character dressing is exactly what it sounds, you dress as a character. Today I was a 60s girl group reject. She showed up to auditions to be the next Ronettes but didn't get a call back. I've a bouffant ponytail tied with a scarf and heart dangling earrings to go with the 60s swing of the dress. Plus I wore cat-eyes and nude lips to complete the look.Monday, October 15, 2012

Old enough to buy a gun.
Last Tuesday I turned 18, my family took me out to my favorite Burmese restaurant for dinner. I had the best time.

I like appropriate-inapporpriate office clothes.
Hey:) It's me. It's my birthday!
I'm at my internship and I take shitty webcam pics instead of doing work. I like working in offices. I like the dress code. Most of the time people looks so boring and sad. Office clothes only come in sad colors. But I don't like looking sad.
If there is anything I've learned from four years of private school is that dress codes are meant to bend. If you're going to bend a dress code, make sure that half of your outfit is always appropriate. For Example: Polka Dot Top = appropriate, but a red body-con mini skirt = inappropriate.
It's an appropriate-inapporpriate outfit. and those are my favorite kinds.
Top: H&M
Skirt: Forever21+
Earrings: Forever21
Sunglasses: Gift
*In all of these outfit pics it looks like I only have one leg. haha
